Acer Rubrum “Swamp Drummond Red Maple”

A Swamp Drummond’s Red Maple has a leathery upper surface on its leaves, and a lighter lower surface.  It differs from the other varieties by being hairy on the silvery lower surface of its leaves.  Leaves are opposite and have 3-5 relatively shallow lobes, with irregularly tooth margins.
