Magnolia Virginiana “Sweetbay Magnolia”

With age, this evergreen tree can grow up to 80 feet tall.  It has large light green foliage with silver undersides and fragrant cup-and-saucer summer creamy-white flowers along with hand-grenade fruit pods. It is best to plant this magnolia in naturalistic groupings, or as stand-alone specimen, sun or shade, wet or well-drained.
